Boo!

Why am I sitting here blogging when I have a sermon to write for class on Saturday? Because I feel obligated to share with you that we have no travel date yet. I know many of you are checking the blog regularly to see if we have heard anything yet, and we have nothing concrete to report. I wish we did and I promise I will blog immediately upon hearing something.

In the meantime, we are plugging along, doing the best we can to let go of the stress of waiting (and admittedly not doing a bang up job of it), and going about our usual stuff. I will be finishing this semester in my lay ministry classes this Saturday, putting me half way through completing the program. Tonight we met with Matthew's staff at the public school overseeing the homeschooling program we are a part of , and it appears all is going well and we were told we are definitely on the right track. I hadn't realized how much I needed that reassurance, but afterwards I felt a little relieved. Kenny's 11th birthday is Sunday and we are doing a low key get together. Guess what he wants? Strawberry cheesecake! Haha! That's my one-in-a-million Kenny!

I have other things I have wanted to blog about but haven't had time this week. I'll get past my class this weekend and then you'll hear more from me. Unless of course we get good news :-0 then I'll jump on and update you all.

So, back to work...I am stalling as I am stuck, and I need to get unstuck...back to the salt mines!
