A Little Quiet

Well, the blog has been quiet since returning from Texas, largely because I have been under the weather and continue to be.  I am  struggling with the worst allergy year I have had in recent memory, and I have allergy induced asthma, making breathing a challenge right now.  The evenings have been the worst, and I have been waking up 3 and 4 times a night struggling to breath, so needless to say I haven't felt much like doing anything, even blogging.

But this week we have a lot on our plate and I have to kick it into gear.  Matthew's follow up appointment at Shriner's in Salt Lake City is Thursday afternoon, and he will be seeing another specialist based upon the results of his CT and MRI scans.  It isn't looking good based upon a phone conversation, but we'll have to wait and see what our options are...if there are any.  Matthew is really struggling with being so inactive, and wants to move forward with whatever will allow him to "be a normal kid" again as soon as he can.  We are thankful for friends willing to put us ip for the night while we are there, and look forward to visiting with them again.

I am writing trying to find time to complete two sermons for preaching dates the end of this month, and we have a project coming up that I will be detailing more on the blog later this week. Life is good, I am just exhausted, and will try to write more later.

Take care of yourself - like they tell you on the airplane - put the air mask on yourself, then on your child...the LaJoys need you to be the glue, dear! Best of luck in Salt Lake...Kelly

weve been sickly for quite awhile here too. Take care of you so you can care for the others. Do you need to see the Dr to try a new asthma inhaler? It sounds like it.

Hope you do get better news at the hospital. Good luck. And feel better soon.
