Hello from Almaty~

Hi All! This is the only chance we have had to email.  We are staying in an apartment instead of the Kazzhol but have no internet access and no internet cafe nearby.  We are all done here with everything, and ready to board the plane tonight for the looooonnnnggg trip home.  We have not really done anything here but walk and hang out playing games with the kids at the apartment.  Things are going super with the girls though, no real issues art all and I will write a longer email when home as I have everyone waiting for me right now and don't want to take too long.

We will still arrive on Feb 14th at 6:30ish in Montrose unless we get sidetracked or delayed en route.

Wish I could write more but need to run!!!

Thanks to all and will report in detail later.  Prayers for us for an uneventful trip home would be appreciated!

Hurrah! The band is tuned up. The mayor has prepared a speech, including "Welcome Home" in Russian, the banner is hung across Main Street for the parade, it will be like a Super Bowl victor's homecoming. Or not.
But there will be a loyal contingent from Hillcrest UCC to give you a warm welcome with no less fervor than if you were the Saints coming marching home in victory.
Safe and speedy return. We wait in anticipation.

I have been cyber stalking your blog for many days now and I cannot believe you are probably over the US now (let's say Ohio! Or wait - a short layover in Denver??) and will be home in a few short hours. Arrgg - I cannot wait for the update, and I cannot imagine what you, your big family, and your friends are going through.

So many hugs! Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your story.

This is simply great!
Glad you made it safely back home.
I wouldn't say it's time to relax (how could you with 5 kids), but there's no other place like home, so enjoy!
