Your children's eyes and spirits that shine so brightly with love, bravery and enthusiasm for life are a huge part of their physical beauty!<BR/> Okay, so I feel a little left out because I only have biological children but.... I thank you for the reminder that they are marvelous! Cindy, you know the "agony" at times I've gone through with my kids who are now adults - the funny thing is as I see my 24 year old's hair starting to recede (like his father's)I can catch glimpses of the baby and the little boy in him that I remember so fondly. And as my daughter turns 21 years old soon, I see her sneak a feel of her old worn out blankey for comfort and I know my little girl is still in there just a bit. So, didn't mean to make this about ME but...thought it was an interesting comparison of opposites! And we must marvel at our children while we have them - today is the first anniversary of Sam's death at the young age of 21 from cancer. Embrace every minute with your children! Love and miss you guys! Our little guy has gone from a very fragile, small baby to a strong, happy, very busy little boy in 4 short months. You are so right about being able to stand outside ourselves and see our children in a different light. I, too, find myself staring at him and marveling at what a miracle and gift it is that I was chosen to help raise him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35990418.post-6440931172119683802007-09-18T07:14:00.000-06:002007-09-18T07:14:00.000-06:00I think it happens no matter :) Our boys are too ...I think it happens no matter :) Our boys are too small to notice much of a change, but we've seen a shift in Sophie in recent months... she's losing that baby look and we're starting to see glimpses of the teenager/adult... although 99% of the time she's our beloved goof-ball :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15294665105331479829noreply@blogger.com
